Marin County Coast Gravel Loop

The Marin County Coastal Ride, or The MCC, is the quintessential Mt. Tam and coastal mixed terrain ride. Unlock the area’s full potential with a gravel bike by climbing on the dirt and descending on the road. While ascending the gentle climb up Mt. Tam on Railroad Grade, you will enjoy huge views to the south of Mill Valley and the Bay. After a smooth, curvy, and fun road descent into Stinson Beach, you will ride one of the best stretches of the world-famous Pacific Coast Highway between Stinson and Muir Beach. Just before Muir, you will climb back up the mountain on Coastal Trail, which treats all visitors to sweeping views of the Ocean along the entire trail. To conclude the ride, enjoy Marin's classic descend of Tam down Panoramic Highway back into Mill Valley.
