Mach 429 Carbon

Pivot has upped the ante once again by taking the proven performance of the Mach 429 and adding carbon. All new geometry, a revised dw-link® suspension design and the same Pivot hollow box internal molding technology developed on the Carbon Mach 5.7 has allowed us to achieve a new level of frame strength and stiffness with superior ride performance in a lightweight 29er package.

The Mach 429 Carbon delivers a perfect balance by taking all of the riding efficiencies of the 29er and delivering the handling characteristics of a 26”. It will make short work of any climb, descents a breeze and all with the comfort and proficiency of full suspension so you can ride at your best all day!

Two years were dedicated to the testing and design of the 429 Carbon, the result is a bicycle with uncompromising
performance, and that’s simply, just plain fun to ride! Once again Pivot is “PERFORMANCE REDEFINED” with the Mach 429 Carbon.

• Pivot exclusive hollow box, high-compression internal molding technology allows for greater compaction and smoother internal walls resulting in a lighter, stronger, highly optimized frame design with the best stiffness to weight ratio in the class.
• New geometry and a revised dw-link® suspension design with position-sensitive anti-squat makes for a 29er that pedals, accelerates and handles like a 26” wheel bike.
• New Pivot specific, custom tuned Fox CTD shock technology: Increased performance and adjustment range allows riders to quickly and easily adjust for changing course or ride conditions.
• 100mm rear travel with 100-125mm travel fork compatibility.
• 142mm rear spacing with 12mm through axle and 160mm post mount dropouts for maximum frame stiffness.
• New under top tube internal shift cable routing with clean brake and dropper seat post routing.
• Rubberized leather chainstay, inner seat stay, and down tube protectors for a quiet ride and higher impact resistance.
• Tapered 1.5” headtube, PF92 bottom bracket, and direct mount front derailleur.
• New ISCG 05 (chainguide) mounts included on frame.
