The Laser Shorts feature Giordana’s newest top of the line Cirro OmniForm™ insert that comfortably contours to the body in motion and returns to its original shape after every ride. This
omnidirectional elasticity creates a micro-massaging effect on the
muscles that promotes blood flow during activity and can help delay the
onset of fatigue. The special knit also promotes evaporation, keeping you cool and dry and is anatomically constructed for optimal fit on the bike in the riding position.
- Made of Moovix™ fabric, a nylon/Lycra®, that has a unique honeycomb structure that allows it to stretch not just in the traditional two directions, but on the bias too
- Moovix™ fabric, a nylon/Lycra® fabric provides a higher compression rate than other materials in the line for those who prefer more compression
- A second fabric, Ametista, appears pinstriped due to the threads of carbon woven into it
- The carbon element controls stretch and reinforces the strength of the material, allowing it to be lighter, yet stronger
- Carbon has the added benefit of reducing electrical interference from cell phone towers and power lines that can negatively affect performance
- Ametista is utilized on the Giordana Core Contour System™ around the waist where it wraps internal organs with protective carbon, delaying the onset of fatigue
- An internal logo branded elastic keeps the waist snug
- Four needle flat-stitched seams help to control stretch as well as isolate muscle groups
- A wide soft elastic band at the cuffs has silicone dots on the inside to hold the shorts securely in place during activity
- Reflective elements add visibility for safety
