Olema-Bolinas Ridge Gravel Loop
Escape reality and enjoy the entirety of the Bolinas Ridge on the Olema-Bolinas Ridge Gravel Ride, or The OBR Gravel Ride. Ascending Mt. Tam on Railroad Grade is just the start of this hefty mixed terrain ride. From East Peak, enjoy a mixture of pavement and gravel descending back down to the intersection of Ridgecrest and Bo-Fax. From there, your journey north along the Bolinas Ridge begins. The ridge is one of the best kept secrets of Marin. Immerse yourself in everything from redwood groves to cow pastures as you make your way up the county. After making it all the way up Bolinas Ridge, recover with a relatively flat pavement ride through West Marin. From Fairfax, you climb back up and around Mt. Tam on a number of fire roads. The ride concludes with the classic descent down Panoramic and through Four Corners back to Mill Valley.
